This week i have proposed to my advisor that I'm thinking instead of using barcode for the item, I'm planning to use RFID tag on the item. The function of RFID is that the RFID tag can be read automatically compared to barcode because barcode is in line of sight.
the figure below shows my second block diagram after discussing with my advisor. She agree to change the title of my project since I'm not using barcode anymore.
